Domain Parking Stat Gadget

Overview:  The Domain Parking stat gadget works with Google Desktop.  You must have the Google Desktop software installed to use the Parking Stats Gadget.  The Gadget is designed to make the viewing and monitoring of parking statistics more convenient.   The gadget enables you to view the visits, clicks, and revenue associated with your domain portfolio when parked at one of the supported parking services.  The gadget works by logging into your parking account and downloading the data to your gadget. 

Privacy:  Your private data including parking statistics, service username and password are does not go through a 3rd party and is never collected, viewed, or shared... the stats are simply downloaded from the parking service directly to your computer.

Question: How do I know if my login information secure?
Answer: The gadget works the exact same way as logging into the web sites in a web browser.  The information goes directly from your computer to the parking service's login page.  The data is stored on your computer much the same way that cookies are stored on your computer when you select the "remember me" option on a login screen.  Your login information is never known, seen, accessed, stored or received by our servers.

Question: What Parking Services Do you support?
Answer: As of July 1, 2007 we support Sedo.com, DomainSponsor and Trafficclub.   More parking services will be added very soon including iMonetize and Namedrive among others.
UPDATE:  As of August 10th The Parking Stat Gadget supports 6 Domain Parking providers which include: Parked.com, Namedrive, iMonetize, Trafficclub.com, Sedo.com, DomainSponsor.com.

Question: How do I know if my parking data is secure?
Answer: The gadget works just like a web browser - it logs in and displays the information.  Your parking data is never known, seen, accessed, stored or received by our servers.

Question: What information is sent to your servers when I run the gadget?
Answer: When you run the gadget, an html document is opened from our server with a custom message, that is displayed at the bottom of the screen.  No personal information is passed to our server to retrieve this document. 

Question: What information is stored in cookies?
Answer: The only cookies that are used are the ones sent to the gadget by the parking services. When you log into your parking service, that website might give you cookies. In that case, our gadget receives those same cookies. Our server does not generate any cookies.

Download Instructions: 

1. Download and install the latest version of Google Desktop  http://desktop.google.com

2. Download the Stat Gadget by clicking here

3.  You'll likely see a windows prompt asking you if you're sure you want to download and install the gadget.  Click "Open" or "Save" to open it later.

4. After the gadget installs, you'll see this warning from Google.   It's OK.  Just click "OK".

5. The gadget will install and should be visible in your Google Desktop Sidebar as you see below:

6. To enter your parking account information, hover over the gadget in the sidebar then click the down arrow to view options.

7. Once your account data is entered, the gadget will connect to the parking services and download your stats automatically.
